Public Arts Projects

In 2023, TBTP will help develop and commission a public arts projects in Hawai’i, California and Washington in collaboration with local nonprofit organizations that specifically engage in local communities.

The yet to be announced partnership will provide direct support to artists that seek to creatively examine the harmful effects of fossil fuel consumption to our communities. Creative explorations will be directed to examine how our most vulnerable and poor communities are being adversely, severely affected by changing weather patterns such as drought and flood.

TBTP will also engage policy makers to ensure that the results of this program are widely distributed and shared across communities. The hope is that these endeavors will spread to other organizations and bring together different communities that haven’t connected previously.
